Tycoon Machete will perform live soundscapes to a screening of the Silent Movie Classic 'The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari'.
To explain further @jpwhipple states: "This will be an electronic version of the band you love. Erin on Theremin. James running sequences and various machines. Sean on the flagship UDO, and John Whipple will make various things happen with a guitar. Murray will run projections and provide narration.
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is a landmark of German expressionism. It features jagged sets and weird furniture inspired by the various art movements happening in post WWI Germany. It has been interpreted as a metaphor for how the German people sleepwalked into war at the behest of psychopath leaders. It is also an eerie premonition of the coming fascism"
